Most of my cats are now FeLV tested for the 2nd time and they are all negative and there is no longer any danger of a second FeLV break out in my cattery.
Cleared cats are:
IW QGC Junglejem DaVinci of Kimburu
CH Kimburu Meru
Kimburu Nocturne sensation
WFB Salix caprea of Kimburu
Kimburu Filfil falconer
WinsomeBG Helena ofTroya of Kimburu
Kimburu Kaalamoric
SavannahNorway Eidundra of Kimburu
Kimburu Farioulo Fehling
Farioulo moved to his new familly in Bergen last Friday and is settling down nicely in his new home. He was neutered before he left my home.
waiting for their 2nd test to be done are only 2 breeders and a few neuters
negative on their first test were:
Kimburu Panlong
Kimburu Jajapur
RW TGCA, FIFe EC Spice Garlic of Kimburu
Kimburu Riadha
still utested, and isolated, are:
Kimburu Nectar du feu
Kimburu X-Tego
Kimburu Peppercorn
Cats from my breeding that has been tested for FeLV and found negative are:
Kimburu Fakori Faraday
Kimburu Kurumulaku
Kimburu Herensuge
Kimburu Lassemista
These cats moved from me at different times from November 2008 to November 2009, there are no reasons to think any other cats from me would have any problems relating to FeLV.
I now look forward to a more normal way of being, grouping the cats in a different manner better for them and me, and not the least to have some kittens again later this year.
My cat groups and future plans have been changed due to this disaster, but I think it in the end will be a good way to continue my Bengal breeding program. I will need to neuter a boy or two and add another new girl, but this will all be in the furure and nothing will happen right away.
Later in 2010 I will start showing my cats again too.
